FAQ about Church Membership
Why become a member? (Foursquare Bylaws, Article 13.5.E)
Becoming a member of Pasadena Foursquare Church is a way of saying, “This is my church home.” It’s a commitment to grow in faith, live in unity, and partner in God’s mission—spiritually and practically—by participating in the business and shared life of our church family. Membership is a joyful step of belonging, shared responsibility, and hope for what God is building among us.
Who can be a member? (Foursquare Bylaws, Article 13.5.A)
To become a member, a person should

demonstrate a genuine faith in Christ and a life that reflects that commitment,

-

Who can vote in church business meetings? (Foursquare Bylaws, Article 13.5.C, 13.5.E)
Those who participate and vote in a church membership meeting are members in active standing:
-

-
Those who are meaningfully engaged in the life of the community through regular worship attendance (as they’re able), and
-
Those faithfully support the church’s mission through consistent generosity.
