High School: The Initiative
Who We Are:
Our middle school group is called Marked (from Ephesians 1:13) and is for students in 6th - 8th grades. We are focused on learning what it means to live out our faith in our actions in all areas of life - home, school, church, with friends, in our community, and around the world!
The Initiative (2 Corinthians 5:11-21) is a community for high school students to be transformed BY God's initiated love, to be equipped THROUGH God initiating His Holy Spirit, and to partner together WITH God on His initiative to transform the world with His love.
Sunday Mornings with PFC Youth!
PFC Youth is excited to announce the return to Sunday mornings this summer! Join PFC Youth every second and fourth Sunday of the month after worship (10am) as we explore three vital aspects of our lives: identity, belonging and purpose. As we navigate these topics together, we grow to understand ourselves more, which in turn allows us to be more aware, open and eager to follow Christ.
The first Sunday morning will be June 12th; don't miss it because each student who attends will get a Krispy Kreme Donut!
Summer 2o23 Calendar:
PFC's Summer theme is "With: Doing Life Together." PFC Youth will be aligning our summer with the same theme which will bring a season of shared experiences, connection and deepening our relationships with God and each other! Below is a full breakdown of each event this summer season:
Car Show & Dinner @ Bob's Big Boy
June 9th | 6-1opm
Bring $15-20
We are kicking off the summer with a classic car show and dinner @ Bob's Big Boy (4211 W Riverside Dr, Burbank, CA). For decades Bob's has hosted car shows in their parking lot that feature big-block Chevy’s, hot-rod Lincolns and not a Hybrid in sight. Meet promptly at PFC at 6pm and students will be transported by the youth leaders over to Bob's. Bring $15-20 for dinner (here is the menu for reference of how much $ to bring). Pick-up is back at PFC at 10pm. Please RSVP to Pastor Max by June 7th.
Movie Night @ The Boyle Home
June 30th | 6-1opm
Cost: $5 for Food
Join PFC Youth for an outdoor movie night at Pastors Max & Jasmine's house! The movie will be determined later by a vote on our Instagram page (@pfcyouth). Also during the night, we will be honoring and praying for our recent high school graduates! Be sure to bring $5 to chip in for dinner.

Summer Camp at Camp Cedar Crest
July 11th-15th
Cost: $310 | Registration deadline is June 16th
For the first time since March 2020, PFC Youth returns to Camp Cedar Crest! Along with hundreds of other Foursquare youth from the SoCal area, we will be going to Camp Cedar Crest for an intentional time to connect with God and each other. Camp offers an opportunity to experience a transformational and significant moment in a student’s life. There’s something dynamic about creating sacred space for time to encounter God’s Presence, especially when we do it together!

Instructions: Click register as a group, then click "join a group instead," look for Pasadena Foursquare Church in the drop down menu, and use passcode pfcyouth to register with our group!
Payment: You will be charged a $1 processing fee when you register your student(s) online. The rest of the registration cost will be due to PFC on July 9th (this way we'll be able to subtract any amount earned from fundraisers and scholarships). There will be one main fundraiser on July 8th. More details will be communicated to those families who register for camp.
PFC Youth at the Zoo

Cost: $20 for ticket| RSVP by July 1st
For the first time ever PFC Youth will be going to the LA Zoo at night! Join us Friday, July 28th for a unique experience walking around the Zoo on a summer night to witness the nocturnal animals in their environments. Meet up is at 5pm @ PFC. Cost is $20 for a ticket to the Zoo and PFC Youth will be providing dinner before head out. Pick-up is at PFC at 10pm and RSVP by July 1st to get your ticket before it sells out!
Pool Party!
August 12th | 5-8pm
Cost: $5 for pizza and snacks
No PFC Youth summer is complete without a pool party at the Russell home. Beat the summer heat and have one last hurrah before school starts as we hang out and cool down at the Russell home (located in Azusa). Cost is $5 which covers pizza. Drop-off and pick-up will be at the Russell home.
