2024 Vision
From Pastor Brian:
PFC, my prayer for you this year and as we advance is found in Ephesians 1:17-23. As your shepherd, my heart’s desire is that “you may know him [Jesus] better (v.17)” Because we only find wholeness, peace, love, and purpose in Jesus.
With the help and leading of the Holy Spirit, in 2024, we as a church will focus on three themes of our spiritual development in Jesus:
GRATITUDE
I pray that we will be a people who operate out a gratitude, showing gratitude, leading with gratitude and loving with a grateful heart.
"Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire."
Hebrews 12:28-29
REPENTANCE
Living a life of repentance means that we are consistently humbling ourselves under God Almighty. Where would any of us be without God's amazing grace as demonstrated by the cross of Christ?
"Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed--not only in my presence, but much more in my absence--continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose."
Philippians 2:12-13
CALLING
May we not forget what Jesus has called us to. It's easy to forget the simple things when bombarded with the meaningless expectations of this world. Our calling as a church is laid out in Scripture: "keep the unity of the Spirit through bond of peace." (v. 3) This is our witness in a world filled with division.
"As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all."
Ephesians 4:1-6
As we pray together over these 21 days, may our hearts be united as we begin this new year together, believing that we will walk out of this season knowing Jesus better. Happy 2024!

SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER
We will be hosting a special time of Sunday morning prayer at 7:30 am on January 14, 21, and 28th. Everyone is welcome to join and pray together for our families, church, city, nation and world.
